On Saturday April 25th, we shot a number of interviews in the beautiful restaurant London Lennie's, in operation since 1959,  on Woodhaven Blvd.

Over a dozen long  time Middle Village residents came out and shared wonderful stories of the neighborhood, and we recorded local historians discussing the town's interesting history. During the next few weeks of May, we will be filming around the community the short narrative sections of the film that set up the locals interviews.

A few well-known pop culture icons are in mind to appear in these short vignettes, and I feel really confident they will be rather entertaining. On the production side of things, I am working with a new cinematographer, John Michael Occhipinti, on Middle Village. He currently is employed at WNEP, an ABC affiliate in Scranton/Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. He is fantastic! I am so stoked to see how our endeavor pans out. Stay tuned, and contact me via the Middle Village: The Movie Facebook page if you think you have a story to tell!
