The David Lee Madison Journals: Making of “Middle Village,” Part Three

An early poster for Madison's upcoming documentary "Middle Village"

Tuesday, May 19, 2015 was an especially great day in the filming of Middle Village. We shot a great interview with Middle Village’s very own Ray Abruzzo, who is best known as Carmine Lupertazzi  on HBO’s hit show The Sopranos, who also starred on NBC’s Night Court and ABC’s The Practice.  He is very passionate about his hometown and had great stories to share. We also interviewed Tony Timpone, who also grew up in Middle Village. Tony is best known as the Editor Emeritus for FANGORIA magazine, and has produced several  motion pictures. Tony shared some wonderful stories of his days at Our Lady of Hope and hanging around Juniper Park. We have been shooting the film on and off for the last 8 weeks and I am extremely proud of how it’s been going. Principal photography should be done by the end of June, and then it's on to post production!
