Mission Impossible: Can LeBron James carry Cleveland to another NBA Championship?

The 2018 playoffs have been LeBron’s hardest road to the finals, yet because this Cavs roster is perhaps his worst team LeBron has been apart of since his first finals appearance in 2007. On top of having a horrible supporting cast, the Eastern Conference was surprisingly a lot better than most people thought it was going to be. Many people thought the Pacers were going to be a lottery team this year after trading Paul George away, but Victor Oladipo rose to stardom and pushed the defending Eastern Conference Champs to a game 7. Also, many people such as ESPN analyst Max Kellerman predicted the Raptors would beat the Cavs because Lebron simply didn’t have enough this year, but surprisingly Cleveland swept the number 1 seed Toronto Raptors. All of this led to the Eastern Conference Finals where LeBron had to face a tough Boston Celtics team who had young rising stars such as Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, a genius head coach in Brad Stevens and a top 3 defense in the league.
